                   FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR

  Dear Fellow Members:

There have been a lot of things taking place at the Lodge over
the last several of months. We have improved the appearance
of the Lodge Room by painting and putting in new carpet.
Many thanks to Sonny Catlett for obtaining the carpet at no cost
and to Wayne Watkins, Ken McCarty, and Brandon Campbell for
their efforts in completing the work. Thanks also to Glen
Stanley, Larry Stanley, and Sonny Catlett for hanging decorative
lights in the Lodge Room in time for the W.O.T.M. Christmas in
  October Dance.

Many thanks to Larry Reynolds, Lewis White, Katharine White,
Bill Fair, Kim Hepner, and Lisa Etheridge for putting on a very
successful Brunswick Stew Sale this month. A lot of work went
into the preparation of the brunswick stew but the end result was
that many of us got to enjoy eating something very delicious.

We are still moving forward with plans to establish public bingo at
the Lodge. A meeting took place with those who expressed an
interest in volunteering their help with this project, and we were
able to find needed bingo managers from this group in order to move
further along with our plans. We need all the volunteers we can get
to support this endeavor so if you have not already expressed an
interest in helping but may consider it, please let me know.

The Lodge is not going to grow and prosper without the support of
the members. This can be done in many ways such as through your
participation at the Lodge, volunteering your help with projects and
events, sponsoring new members, spreading the word about the
many benefits of membership and the community service provided
by the organization. In these difficult economic times, your Lodge
can be the best place to stretch your dollar and have a good time.

On Saturday, November 12th, the Lodge will delay opening until
5:00 p.m. in order to replace the carpet in the Social Quarters and
to complete some cleanup work. Please let me know if you would like
to help. There will be member bingo that night and a breakfast the
following Sunday morning to give you a reason to see our
  improvements.

  Frateranally yours,

  Mark Long, Administrator
